     @tadano It will be replaced the next time you install deb package. If you want it to be preserved during upgrades you can install the modified frontend separately and then change web_client_dir parameter in config file. Not great, I know.

     How they do it in Pleroma?

     @silverpill I used the asinine technique of manually replacing a file in /usr/share/mitra/www/assets

     @silverpill @tadano Files in static dir basically overlay the bundled frontend's files, letting one add custom themes by putting it there and copying+editing styles.json.

     @tadano @mint Yeah, I didn't forget about these. Was busy with protocol work and mitra 3.0 but now I'm returning to working on features.

     @tadano In Mitra 3.1.0 you can add web_client_theme_dir parameter to your configuration file and then put altered image into the specified directory. It works as @mint described

     @tadano @mint Yes, it should overlay one directory over another. I think to put a melon there you'd still need to rebuild the frontend because styles are concatenated into a single css file and minified.
     We need to figure out now how to customize stylesheets without rebuilding.

     @silverpill @mint Upgraded, I assume it maps based on directory (e.g. $THEMEDIRECTORY/assets/asinine.png replaces /usr/share/mitra/www/assets/asinine.png)? Time to figure out how to put a melon in the corner of the screen for the main UI :watameloncool3d:

     @tadano @mint Emoji reactions are almost done, will be included in the next release.

     However, in Husky they should already work. Have you tried the latest version, 1.6.0 ?

     Very :watameloncool3d: of you but how did you :watameloncool3d: react over Mitra? You can't custom react over the current frontend nor Husky last I checked
