@mactonite @FruitpilledPeachcel Evropa has awakened

@FruitpilledPeachcel waifuism is like worshipping a fertility idol. you've seen the memes. and you're projecting all your need for love and sex onto this inanimate object. that's no good.
-
@Will2Power @FruitpilledPeachcel real! good morning.

@mactonite @FruitpilledPeachcel dude are you even Christian
-
@FruitpilledPeachcel well if you want love from an inanimate object and pretend you're married to it then it's just semantics to say it's not idolatry. all idol worshippers believe it's the idol serving them and not the other way around. i think your motivating factors are lust and covetousness which were also my struggles before being born again. have you been born again cosmarubro?
-
@mactonite How is the seraphim statues in the First Temple idolatry? God Himself commanded that they are to be built.
As for the other depictions I named, they were made to please the eyes and commemorate important events.
Should I explain why "fun is allowed" too?
What sort of amerifat cokehead interpretation of scripture have you been reading?
Also I will love the first rich hole with 3 mansions who is 100+ years old, 3 days away from death, with no heirs and no debt who will give me all of her wealth upon death. Otherwise I am not interested :smug1:

@FruitpilledPeachcel colossians 3:5 very funny post but yes it is idolatry. read the rest of the chapter too, i believe it will sooth your heart in this situation. also just looking at the name you're trying to receive grace from it without god. you should love god and find a woman created by god to love.

@mactonite I have never prayed to Megumin asking her to produce semen in my balls, which is what I assume is part of what a fertility goddess would do. I have never prayed to her at all for anything.
You're citing that psalm and I assume you are refering to the western version of the old testament.
You're overstretching things. Are you implying that anything that is depicted with ears, eyes, noses, etc. is an idol?
Because if that's the case then the Seraphim statues in the First Temple were idols. The Bayeux Tapestry is full of idols. The Stele of Vultures is full of idols. The ugly grafitti someone made on a wall is an idol.
-
@mactonite I could also project love on a useless breathing piece of flesh who doesn't know loyalty and demands the world of me.
So yes, I prefer the fictional girl, and no, I do not worship her.
-
@FruitpilledPeachcel you have a false dilemma, both things you present are bad. psalm 115:4-8 means if you trust in your waifu for love and companionship you'll be devoid of it.
