@nixCraft Myself being a long time Linux user couldn’t implement Linux at corporate level. There is too much fragmentation, way too many things to do things, main stream app support or port is lacking although there are alternatives but users previous experience is heavily weight to carry on. I never could find a suitable MDM, EDR, seamless SSO logging experience. Canonical or RedHat don’t have it and I talked to both several times. Hardware support for common laptops brands is still an issue.
@nixCraft they can rethink all they want, but companies let Microsoft enjoy their monopoly for so long, they can't replace it. Just not possible for corporations of certain size. One of the major bottlenecks being staff with experience running anything Not M$.
