     @ninja8tyu @Minty you literally turn into a zombie if you get rabies from a rabid animal
     And there is recordings of rabies infected people, and yes, it's as terrible as it is with animals seeing people literally turn into zombies and snarl/ try to bite you with no restraint and screaming in agony or in horrific screaming from water or exposure to water like a creepy scream in the middle of the woods

     @Minty honestly i don't think i ever learned about rabies, other than "don't pet wild animals" and stuff
     
     i've never encountered a rabid animal before, and i guess i should be thankful for that
     
     i heard that some of the best horror media out there basically are inspired by a fundamental core fear of rabies in some way that goes back even before history was spoken, and god i understand now

     @ninja8tyu yeah rabies is a pretty fucking terrifying thing. I would rather put the animal down on the spot that leaves it to suffer through what that shit does to you. Im just happy I've never had a pet get it because that shit would be too much for me to handle :dead_inside:
