     @roboneko each channel has it's own key similar to the pubkeys for a user. Not all clients support it. I forget which NIP details the implementation but there is a channel for nostr-rs-relay that I joined which has very low activity.

     @roboneko I use amythest and gossip. amythest has support for channels, but gossip does not. It's a client by client (and relay by relay) thing. One of the things kind of interesting about nostr is that you can implement very specific feature sets and advertise which features (NIPs) you support in your relay or client.

     @roboneko yeah when time permits I am working on learning more about both protocols. I was going to build something like mostr.pub but got wrapped up with other work. still on my todo list if for no other reason than education

     @thatguyoverthere tbf there's nothing stopping fedi software from doing that (nodeinfo exists) but it doesn't seem like that happens :puniko_shrug:
