     @ehhh @MoeBritannica only 17 states in the US and very few countries in the EU have them. I didn't learn what they were until I started watching anime.

     @luithe oh yeah, I mentioned them being defenseless earlier, but I guess the one way that they can hurt you is if they confuse you with a plant and try to suck your blood, basically? just reminded of that when i took mine out briefly, so yeah their proboscis can pierce wood.

     Additionally, I’ve learned that mine is probably a female, since it doesn’t chirp. Only the male ones do. Huh :awoo_naruhodo2:
