@sknvlv @genmaicha @adiz @newt I think the victims are always the people in these conflicts, the people who have to foot the bill, sacrifice their lives for the war effort while the politicians and elites play at geopolitics and steal resources. Future generations will suffer too, the debt for war is large. That debt used to be enough to stall wars. Now governments can just print money and expect future generations to pay for it, kick that responsibility down the road.
