Both Dune movies would count as having White leads if you classify Jessica as the female lead rather than Chani, but Dune does feature an interracial couple so it gets cast into the basket of deplorables regardless.

@judgedread Chani role. She didn't even attempt at some Fremen like accent. She came across as some brat from the Bronx. The nut job in the earlier movie did a better job. Weakest aspect of the movie. They set up the next one to show her as a jealous bitch who Paul will have to win back over so she will bear twins. Valuable plot time will be wasted on this bullshit. Princess Irulan will tell us of the carnage going on off world. Dune is not a love story. Sex is for Bene Gesserit gene manipulation purposes. That little bug-eyed actress will probably play a good insane Aria. The chick who played Irulan was very good though. She probably will go on to be Paul's chronicler as well as involved in some plot twists.

@Viking5050 @judgedread Annoyingly, they could have just as easily cast the actress that played Shishakli (Chani's friend) in the role and hit all the marks. She's Flemish-Tunisian and far more physiognomically similar to the way Chani is described in the books. All she would have needed would have been red highlights to her hair.
She's also a far better actress than the nigger mongrel, her Sietch Tabr death scene was very well done

@stoner713 @dubbub @Viking5050 @judgedread Frank Herbert was a retard about miscegenation and action grrls himself so I can't fault Villenueve too much, but the absolute worst casting decisions were:
1. Chani (enough said)
2. Liet-Kynes (changed from a patrician slender blond nobleman to a niggerbitch, particularly insulting as he's Chani's Dad in the novel)
3. Thufir Hawat (from reserved sage to fat mystery meat, luckily his character just got disappeared from the rest of the movie following the Atriedes curb-stomp)
Momoa as Duncan Idaho I'm indifferent about as the character was described as kinda Asiatic in the books iirc and at least he has solid physical presence. Yueh as an Asian was actually smart. Jessica, Duke Leto and Irulan are very well cast (the Atreides are implied to have a Med background). Walken as Shaddam is . . . Walken (so, awesome). Javier Bardem as Stilgar is way too fucking fat and comical.
The ornithopters and the Sardaukar were the highlights of the film for me, particularly the way they depicted the Sardaukar language being spoken and Salusa Secundus.

@TrevorGoodchild @Viking5050 @judgedread The original Dune cast was perfect already, should've just cgi-pasted the faces and redone the sfx. The remake reeks of political subversion, Paul being a kike, the interracial, how they have to grovel before niggers, Stilgar turning into a babbling woman - the whole plot is basically the Third Reich fighting CHAZ.
And Jason Momoa is a pedophile, man do I hate his visage.

@dubbub @TrevorGoodchild @Viking5050 @judgedread I honestly tried to watch the new Dune. When I saw Thufir Hawat was a niggeR and Duncan was an island niggeR, I turned it off. The Ornithopters were cool though.
