@sim @sknvlv @adiz @newt The eerie way in which the media suddenly started lavishing praise and attention on Ukraine and its culture reminds me of how people dress up sacrificial victims in lavish outfits before disembowling them. The only reason for all this sycophancy is to drum up support for a futile war that continues to kill Ukrainians and turn the country into a giant no-man's land. It's perverse.
