   @newt @sknvlv @adiz Watching my country practically worship Ukraine despite how corrupt it is... it's not exactly encouraging me to think that it does little to internal politics. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a foreign country.
   
   We've also been tied together for longer. We import a lot of the culture, media and texts from America. Sometimes I think that it is only a matter of time when it comes to Eastern Europe and this, that we are a warning to them of what they can expect to come by following the western superpowers.

     @sim @sknvlv @adiz these are all military treaties. They don’t promote cultural issues and do little to internal politics.
     
     Poland didn’t suddenly become a new America after they joined NATO. Neither did Italy or Greece. Or even Turkey. Your country has a very special relationship with the US of A, being the primary cause of its very existence. It’s a no surprise that your countries are so tied together.
