   I can't remember if I read it spelled out or I saw a story about his son disowning him and connected the dots myself, but once I knew his son was groomed there was never any other possible explanation for him putting his entire empire and actual life at risk.

     @judgedread @Shadowman311 I got the impression that, when he said he was lied to about puberty blockers, at the time he was being told that was what was in the best interests of his son - and he was legitimately trying to care for him.
     
     Not only was he betrayed, they destroyed the man’s real legacy of a son to pass things onto. If they took away the things that really mattered to him….
