While I really wanted the 4K display, it's been a mixed blessing, as there is still a lot of non-hidpi software out there. If I were buying a 15.5" now, I think I might stick with "full HD" 1080p.(1920*1080).

My laptop has a 2160p ("4K", 3840x2160) 15.5-inch LCD, so I have to change the display settings to a substantially lower resolution to be satisfactory for screen sharing. It's a hassle, but I do it. -
