     I've stuck a 10uF Aluminum electrolytic capacitor in here temporarily, I really want to see if I can get any life out of this, all darkness so far!

     I've replaced all the iffy caps in the PSU, seems to be fine now.
     Moving onto the motherboard, that 10uF cap is fried (not related to my mini explosion), time to pop a couple out and give them a test:

     First thing to do is to take all the pins out the keyboard connector and reattach them firmly, I'm going to need that keyboard!

     While I wait for my Honeywell Bull laptop to arrive, I've decided I'm going to tackle repairing this:
     1989 Twinhead Superlap 386SX Lunchbox PC.
     It currently doesn't show any signs of life, I think I'll need to do some repairs on both the internal PSU and the motherboard.
