You know why people doesn't have fun with videogames anymore? It's because they spend more time bitching about FPSs and performance and raytracing, than playing actual games. That and because everything is competitive nowadays. And ultramonetized and engineered to make you waste money.
Videogames 20-30 years earlier weren't better. It's just that we weren't whiny about minor details like we are now. "Oh noes! I lost 2 FPS in my ultracompetitive first person shooter! Now I'm not going to be able to reach top 10 on the leaderboard!" Bruh... we played Goldeneye at 20 FPS and still got good at it. Y'all just pussies.
