whenever anyone manages to actually build a new house in england nowadays, theres a special stipulation that, legally, so as to not offend the design sensibilities of the king, the house has to be designed by a 5 year old child

1. a new-build house in somewheres-town, england. it consists of a box with a pitched roof. the rectangularity of the design is jaw-dropping. there is a door in the middle, with a window either side of it, and three windows at the top, all symmetrical. also notable is that the windows are extremely small, with thick uPVC frames. the place must be quite claustrophobic inside. the texture of the external brick is a uniform red, like a cartoon, with bright white mortar. overall the impression given is something like what someone who has never played minecraft before might build in it

  @jk even a 5-year-old wouldn't make the higher, safer windows smaller than the lower windows. The 5-year-old would keep the windows the same size.
