Have been playing around with a new Boox 10.3 Go ereader. Very well designed device and being Android is very convenient for manga compared to converting a bunch of epubs myself. Works well in every way except the stylus interaction which is very, very stupid. A quarter inch from the screen it will recognize you have the stylus there and highlight buttons and such, the problem being that this looks exactly the same as actually clicking the button, so you don't know if the screen actually accepted your input. No backlight, which is both less convenient and my preference for greater screen clarity. The actual book reading app is barebones compared to what I'm used to on a modded Kobo firmware, so will eventually replace, but it's functional enough for normal people to use. Not ideal for manga that have a lot of very detailed gradient shading, comes out looking muddy. I'm still annoyed that e-ink is stuck at 300ppi, but I needed a larger device and nothing better is on the horizon.
