@hazlin downloaded GBstudio, gonna expirement and basically make a prequel. If the gameplay and more feels good and its reasonably fun I'll look at Godot for a proper build of what I dreamed... -

@hazlin might be hilarious to make a full fledged gacha style game that can run on gameboy color/GBA -

@hazlin think I'll try for a 1.0 build via gbstudio and go rpg 2D route and see what I can do. If the system works and is reasonably fun, I'll try for a 3D build. -

@hazlin it's weird that my brain recycled a comic book idea I had... could work as a solo gacha style game though and then periodically do updates to add more grinding items/characters as well as story -

@hazlin I'm just going to more or less start making and see what I can do.
There's tons of tutorials for practically everything with gbstudio, so all I should have to do is bring it together and add the story. But yeah, starting is the hard part. -

@SpurgAnon I see in game dev, getting any prototype, even if it is just an illustration, seems to be the hardest part.
