     She ordered food a bunch…..because “I don’t know how to drive your car”, and the “the other one is always in the back…….I’m afraid of hitting something pulling it out. I thought you’d be mad”

     Like literally the simplest issue to fix and she just decides to hide all of this like a cat pushing its shit under the kitchen table out of embarrassment.

     I can’t really be that mad, more just irritated that she tried to save face and hide it more than anything. If you cost average what I’m getting out of the deal, I’m still coming out in the green overall.

     @professionalbigot69 I was surprised our food budget was always so low. For a while I was amazed that doubling the heads under the roof only bumped costs by like, 40%. Guess she’d just get tired of waiting, tell me she went to the store, and have it delivered.

     I wanted a NEET woman, I got a NEET woman. Comes with the turf.

     @professionalbigot69 This whole thing was so avoidable. All she had to do was ask and I’d set things up for her while I’m gone. She’s like “I thought you’d be mad” and when I asked why she just said “I don’t know…..”

     So I guess the fact that we’d yet to really fight, and she’d never seen me get testy with her backfired in this instance. She imagined I would be a lot worse tempered than I am, because she’d never gotten to experience it.

     @professionalbigot69 If she invoiced me for sex anywhere close to what the pros do, I’d have to sell everything I own 3 times over to pay that invoice. Not to even touch on the babysitting, the help she gives to the rest of the family, watching my place while I work…..

     Most of all I like her. You don’t get mad at your dog when she needs surgery. You love her, you just sack up and pay it ‘cause coming home to an empty home is much worse than the bill

     @ForbiddenDreamer Yeah, it seems to have gotten away from her. Had I just been smarter I’d’ve stowed my stick shift and just left the SUV out for her to use. she’s so white-knuckle terrified at threading it out of the rear parking station she just figured she’d have groceries delivered to the tune of…..15 to $35 a pop, from the sound of it. Retarded but I could have avoided it with better foresight.

     When I did the self-assured “anything to confess?” she got so flinchey and depressed I felt like a dick. It’s like a rescue dog shivering when you raise your voice.

     @sparky @ForbiddenDreamer Thankfully it’s just groceries from the looks of it. From the sound of it she would try not to, then break down if stores in the house got low. So here I’ve been coming back and thinking “holy hell, she eats so little” it’s actually been replenished sometimes.

     Makes a bit more sense. Could’ve saved a chunk of money had she just said she was too nervous to back ‘her’ car out, then I’d leave it in the front for her. I thought she could handle it just fine.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @wgiwf @MeBigbrain @graf it gets worse when they're pregnant, they go hardcore 'nesting' mode, which translates into 'need to buy this for the baby' in modern consumerist society. the internet makes it 100x worse because they see all these other women buying something and their woman brain translates it into 'we HAVE to have this'.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @ForbiddenDreamer It was a 10 minute walk to the grocery store from our house so when the weather was nice she'd just push the stroller down there, get a couple bags, and then go back. Started instacarting when it got hot.
     
     She didn't learn how to drive until she was 26 and is still deathly afraid of the interstate.
