I'm always looking for existing code to do what I want, because usually it's only a tiny piece of what I want to do overall, and I want to get to the full solution ASAP. But I'll also read the source and profile it, and rewrite it if it's obviously sub-opimal in places.

Telling a music producer there are already a bunch multi-hundred dollars vsts in your collection that do the same sound.
