This separates countries that might be successful from countries that definitely aren't. It's necessary. This goalpost must be met. This isn't negotiable. Saying that a country which got steamrolled pretty much immediately after founding is a success is like saying 2+2=5.
   
   I don't know why you insist on dying on this hill over and over again, but it's a lesson you need to learn. Successful nations don't get conquered right away. They just don't. I'm sorry for your loss. But this is just the way it is.
