  @portaloffreedom It would be. Imagine having that on something like a System76 Thelio or a @frameworkcomputer laptop. But the cost for a potential competitor to even enter that market is probably astronomical.

  Not even AMD or Intel run their GPU on open firmware, if I recall correctly.
  A completely open GPU would be awesome.
