   Huge situation just happened with Snowbreak
   
   Almost the entire cast's CN VAs have quit. Only 3 are left.
   This happened after Zhongli's VA started blasting the game on chinese social media for being too lewd and hinting that VAs who work for the game will get blacklisted.
   
   Zhongli's VA is the founder of a VA agency studio who most of these actors work for.
   
   This studio is backed by Mihoyo.
   
   Snowbreak devs are currently scrambling looking for replacements.
   
   Mihoyo is doing some cartel bullshit in the market right now

     @Meemoo Now that I think about it, Snowbreak also recently lost it's English VAs too. Crazy to think they basically lost pretty much all of their non-JP VAs in a couple months span.

     Snowbreak is already on last man standing mode so they'll probably just end up with in worst case scenario some skeleton chinese va group just to appease the chinese governments laws of needing a cn dub.
     
     Snowbreak has already tasted the fanservice fruit and I don't think they're willing to go back to bankruptcy.
     
     Ngl I don't know how you can fault snowbreak for not having a cn dub if the voice actors all quit due to running a cabal.
     
     Edit: I will laugh my fucking ass off if they just decide to do skeleton crew of AI voices outside of the 3 real ones who stayed.

     @Spooke whatever cabal is running the industry is clearly afraid of Snowbreak gaining more influence. it threatens to take away their straight male audience (the actual paying customers) by unabashingly pandering to them.
     
     This whole thing emboldened my desire to support the game.

     They actually said within the same announcement that they plan to add voices to the entire story by the 1.5 anniversary. The CN thing put a damper in their plans but it was probably for the best considering the VAs that left were proven to be unreliable (Tess/Lumine's VA claimed she was too busy to VA 10 seconds for the anniversary stuff only to stream ZZZ for 3 days straight)

     Shouldn't be a problem tbh. I heard the game is easy and right now we have an anniversary event running that lets you pick any girl as rateup.

     I have a problem when I play gachas I suffer from intense fomo for not being there from day 1.

     @rainignterror1080p @supersid333 no, the VAs aren't really at fault here. Most of them wished SB luck on their leave messages. They were forced to leave out of self-preservation.
     Like I explained at the start of this thread, they all left the game after being "advised" not to work with the game over potential "danger" of being blacklisted in the market for 3 to 5 years by a studio head who receives funding and work from Mihoyo. Which clearly implies Mihoyo will sack them if they stayed.
     
     This whole situation seems like sabotage by a big company to get rid of a potential competitor.
     
     The 3 that stayed did so because they were independent.
     One of them stayed because this was her first project and she's very attached to her character.
