     @coolboymew Aren't both companies suspected of paying for exclusive Monster Hunter games at various points in time?
     
     Mainline Persona avoiding Nintendo consoles like the plague for so long always seemed weird. Actual playable versions of Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, and the main Metal Gear games all avoiding the Switch is also odd.

     I do suspect Sony paid for MGS, KH and Persona. There we allegations of MH World being paid too
     
     Pretty sure Nintendo did pay for MH, that's for sure

     @coolboymew The way the Western release of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate was delayed by a year for NO GOOD REASON WHATSOEVER was certainly complete bullshit, if that was just Capcom being cunts, or Soyny paying them off, I just don't know.

     @ChristiJunior @coolboymew atlus historically hated porting stuff, only recently started releasing multiplat with SMT 3, and Soul Hackers 2. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony encouraged them, though.
     
     I'm gonna mark up KH Switch as squeenix incompetence. 2.8 and 3 are PS4 games and would've taken effort to port natively. 1.5 and 2.5 would be easier, but they wanted the PS4 version of all 4 games out on the same day.

     @ChristiJunior @coolboymew I've seen rumors of Sony stopping crossplay and cross saves for games, especially MHW. Unfortunately we won't get to see that as it was a 2018 game, but I'm pissed we don't have a culture of cross console progression.
     Funnily enough, it's Activision who has been supporting crossplay in cod, overwatch, etc.
