   I wonder if some cis women who have partial hysterectomies (ie one or both ovaries are left and still producing estrogen) still have some period symptoms.

     It seems likely, given that some trans women who on HRT have period symptoms such as cramps and mood swings. I was surprised when I learned that, because when my uterus (but not my ovaries) was removed, my period symptoms completely stopped. But I still believe trans women who have period stuff.
