   @Arkana Given that the very phrase "separation of church and state" came from Thomas Jefferson in 1802....

   (Of course, that was a very different thing in the days of a limited Federal government and no Fourteenth Amendment to enforce it on the states, many of which had official religions at the time. Per Brave AI the letter was in reference to the situation in Connecticut.

   It also brings up the 1947 Everson v. Board of Education Supreme Court decision which I'm sure is what turned the phrase into a red hot topic right when @ArdainianRight Notices.

   TL;DR as I'm realizing more and more, Jews don't tend to invent things like modern Leftism, but instead adopt and twist them.
