So you want to try Arch Linux, but you also want to have a basic desktop from the start?

I would recommend EndeavourOS and Manjaro Linux.

Both will give you that "out of the box, ready to go" experience right after install. EndeavourOS will be the real-time, bleeding edge, rolling release, and good if you plan on using AUR. Manjaro Linux will give you that slower release cycle, and ideally is better if you're sticking to using repos.
