     @ehhh @YTFoidLover1488 I can understand he has qualities they admire, I just think it's odd for Japanese nationals to support a foreign politician. Trump is (or at least should be) "America First". He's not making decisions with Japan's best interests in mind, nor should he, because that's not his job.

     If they wanted a Japanese equivalent of Trump I'd understand, but they have to realize that at some point Trump would make decisions that are bad for Japan. Not out of malice, just out of practicality and geopolitical necessity. Surely they'd want to sheer for somebody 100% in their own corner, or so I'd think.

     @japananon @YTFoidLover1488 Japanese nationalists understand that America is an international superpower, and they look up to Trump for he stands against the CCP, who, you know, likes to threaten its neighbours sometimes. 😁 And there's also the fact that he's closer friends with Abe.

     @ehhh @lolipunk3069 yeah they're still going after people from that to this day if they're prominent enough like the Patriot Front leader (who was there).
     
     I really am surprised many haven't fled the USA. One of the J6ers made it to Belarus and got political asylum there.

     @lolipunk3069 @ehhh I saw a good poastie thread earlier about how Trump basically backpedaled a lot of shit, isn't running on the same shit he did in 2016 like immigration reform, and infamously let CVille/J6 protesters rot in prison along with the infamous "bump stock" ban that soured his reputation among gun advocates.

     @PurpCat @ehhh @lolipunk3069 With all the mind games the feds like to do it seems pretty plausible.
     That they lie to him that they'll grant him immunity if he serves the DHS directive, that if he misses they kill him, that if he doesn't go to the agreed upon spot that they'll kill him, but in the end they kill him anyways.
     And this is chance to redeem himself, and take vengeance. Some sort of mind game like that.
