   i was in a bit of a rabbithole to check the state of the art of running intel windows applications on MNT Reform (an ARM device most commonly running Linux) for some legacy usecases and tried different approaches. i came across the (relatively expensive) cloud service "shadow" and it has astonishingly low latency on this setup. this is running in a chromium window:

     @mntmn I used this for quite a long time at my prev. office job where I was running Linux Laptop as my daily driver. Worked very well for CAD!

     For people that have their own machine/server you could also use Moonlight.

     bonus: here's fallout new vegas (32 bit intel) running locally using the wow64 version of wine 9.12 and box64. i hadn't tried that mode before! excuse the handling, was a bit tricky using 1 hand only

     (tangent: the windows 10 oob experience and ms edge i just experienced were truly some cthulhu-esque situation, hard to fathom how this happened and why people put up with so much nonsense stuffed into every corner of the ui...)
