i was in a bit of a rabbithole to check the state of the art of running intel windows applications on MNT Reform (an ARM device most commonly running Linux) for some legacy usecases and tried different approaches. i came across the (relatively expensive) cloud service "shadow" and it has astonishingly low latency on this setup. this is running in a chromium window:
