   After I bit of research I think the NBA does actually broadcast in 720p/1080i, low fps, low bitrate.
   
   They do not broadcast 1080p. They're basically on 2002 level of broadcast technology. Plebs claim it's about costs of bandwidth, but nigger cattle pay extortionist rates for sports packages.
   
   Honestly, I don't think I can watch this pixelated trash despite my new interest in the sport. I'd rather watch FIBA games just because their bitrate isn't 2002-quality.

     the funniest part is when they switch to a court-side camera after a play where you get to watch the dude chug gatorade and suddenly it looks like a fucking NBA 2k video game stream because the FPS and bitrate suddenly triples. How the fuck are the B-roll cameras the best quality of the entire game?

     The NBA used to be fun to watch but it's ruined now by activist coaches like Kerr and Popovich who have to virtue signal about how evil Trump is. The Nets also forced Kyrie Irving on the bench during Covid because he wouldn't get vaccinated. League is faggot tier now but you might be able to just go back in time 20 years and watch replays if you can resist looking up who wins.
