     @Kyonko802 One of the reasons is that AAA games often follow behind the gimmicks of other AAA games, which then becomes stale and trash. A lot of porn games (at least Japanese ones) don’t tend to follow each other. Like, out of all the futa games I’ve played, I can barely find similarities to them in terms of their gameplay, so it’s always interesting.
     
     Hell even among a good number of porn games that do follow each other, they separate themselves with things like characters and world building.

     @Echigo @Kyonko802 Yeah, especially that last part you mentioned. If you're not going to innovate in terms of gameplay/gimmicks, at least have something unique, like charactors and world building.

     @s8n @rainignterror1080p Not all of them, it's just that most of the hentai games worth bringing over are either VNs or RPG Maker games. And a lot of the side scrollers and action games come with english translations already on dlsite.
     
     They're just tapping an untapped market.

     @Kyonko802 @rainignterror1080p I don't like that all the kagura games are rpgmaker games. You can have plot twists and good story in rpgmaker games but the physics and gameplay and interactions are completely unsurprising and the engine is in no way modifiable. Like, I enjoy some of their games but they're basically all the same
