     My Thinkpad has an inbuilt shutter, so yes, I use it.
     And for my external webcam, I use the usb-unplug-hardware-switch😉

     I open my laptops and pull the webcam and mic cables. I can use my external headset mic and an external webcam when/if ever needed. I need a webcam like once a year if luck..(unlucky🤔)😅

     @nixCraft I open up my Laptop and disconnect the webcam and mic cables from the motherboard. I can always connect an external webcam to do videocalls.
