I've had to study weapons, and in this case, fire arms specifically for recreation purposes. This also includes recreating workable triggers, mechanics and on some prop sets, ballistics. I've never actually fired off a fire arm, just messed around or have had to study the blueprints on them. This has led to me discussing them indepth with Sen in our cosplay guild. Dude wants to take me out on a range day on the sunday of the Colossalcon Texas meet up / cook out.
I have a feeling actually firing a gun is going to awaken something primal in me.- :awoo_tired: shotgun snuggler :clownpiece_smug: likes this.

@gear Yeah, firearms are great. I just love seeing how a gun charges, pick up a cartridge from the magazine, locks the bolt, firing then ejecting the shell and cycling another round. They are such fascinating machines :flan_x3: -

@poopernova
So I can comprehend the mechanics to an extent, some of it is literal black fucking magic (see, literally anything made from the german industrial revolution.):awoo_tired: shotgun snuggler :clownpiece_smug: likes this.
