@SuperSnekFriend I think I posted this before? Kinda forgot. Still this is very dumb yeah. I don't think anyone on the Presbyterian side really think Bible is part of God.
@Curvin a comparison between Christian Perennialism to Christian Calvinism. I think the intention here is to show how different Calvinism compared to something like Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox, the core message is on how isolated it is from other ideas that were apparent in the ancient world like Greek Logos, Indian Vedic manuscript etc. Kinda retarded because the maker of the image thinks that Calvinists see the Bible as part of the divine Trinity.
@MK2boogaloo@Curvin i only learn enough about different sects to insult them properly. i tend to use the "Calvinist Santa" meme against them to good effect
"This post is made due to countless interactions with American Calvinists suffering from "Puritan psychology".
These people treat the Bible as an idol going as far as elevating the Bible to Godhood thereby turning the Trinity into a Quadrinity. One of them stated the following:
"Jesus Christ is the Bible made flesh" (This contradicts John 1:1-5)
With such levels of idolatrous blasphemies espoused, one should wonder how these people can sit there and accuse those who venerate Mary of "idolatry", when they themselves have turned the Bible into an idol.
They also misrepresent Christian Perennialism. Perennialism is a school of thought that includes many diverse thinkers and views. Christian Perennialism rejects all Perennialism that is heretical to Christian Church dogma. St. Paul practiced Perennialism in the book of Acts, Chapter 17 when he preached to the Greeks and appealed to their poets and their philosophers."
Part of it makes sense. The "Word of God," among modern evangelicals, is considered true and inerrant. John 1 talks about "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God"
Modern Christianity/Evangelicals won't acknowledge it, and will fight you if you say it, but their ideology does create a quadrinity. The scripture itself is viewed as God. Orthodox/hardcore-Catholics will go as far as to say protestants believe the Bible is interpreted individualistic via the Spirit as guidance, where as classically the Bible was not to be re-interpreted for individual life decisions. The modern evangelical often claims they have a "relationship with God," and state it "isn't a religion, but a relationship" (very similar to the transgender movement, except replace "relationship" with "science" or rationality).
I'm not sure why all the stuff at the bottom is pointing to the son though, or why the Bible = Son on the Calvinist side.
@MK2boogaloo I think CS Lewis believed the Tao and European Paganism was a sort of innate Christian mindset in the sense of Romans 2:14, that man has an nature law within them given by God. The idea being that all religions come due to this desire with the end goal being Christianity. Then again he was Anglican which is just Cuckold Catholicism
