I need to get a move on with a couple games
- Finish STALKER Call of Pripyat (literally a single mission away from beating the game)
- Progress further into Into The Radius

@SamBox9029 Into the Radius is really fucking good. I'd love if VR would have more games like that, but all of them are barebones (CONVRGENCE). :akko_sad:
I just want my STALKER spiritual successors already, or outright STALKER 2 to come out. :fuuka_aah: I just can't get into modded games anymore, I dropped STALKER Gamma because it just didn't feel right at some point.

@Immahnoob I think the main issue is there just isn't a lot of push towards VR from bigger companies. The only people really doing VR is indie developers.
I would love to see either a STALKER VR mod or an official STALKER VR game
As for GAMMA, I've played it but I don't particularly enjoy it.
I look forward to STALKER 2 but when it does drop I'm going to go into it without any expectations.

Doesn't help that the big companies pushing VR are basically all doing it in the worst ways possible. Facebook/Meta/Oculus/whatevernametheycomeupwithnext are purely trying to dominate the market, pushing as hard as they can to get a full 100% market share monopoly as fast as possible by undercutting prices and forcing their ecosystem.
Valve is doing alright, but their headsets are still pricey for now and there's not a lot of push for cutting costs or making improvements. A lot of other PC VR sets are hard to keep track of when it comes to what's a good value and feature support without some research and spreadsheets.
The games are also an issue too as you said. The games that aren't tech demos end up very short or just obtuse. it's a never-ending loop of companies not working on the hardware since nobody is interested in the software enough to buy it, and so developers never make the software since nobody has adopted the hardware. Only way out is somebody dropping large amounts of money to kickstart VR into something bigger, likely at a massive loss which scares most companies.
