I'm testing using a Chromebook for some work-related things, and... wow. ChromeOS looks pretty in some screenshots and has some nice ideas, but all together it's quite a mess.
Play Store versus websites versus PWAs is muddy and the OS offers zero guidance. It's neat to be able to install Android apps, but the performance penalties are super painful.
Some ideas like the pinned files area on the "shelf" seem weird but actually make a lot of sense to keep you out of a file manager app.
