After a whole month of shit going wrong and my PC died, upgraded my PC, updated linux, opened UE5 and it crashes every few minutes, sometimes instantly. Turns out the v555 NVIDIA driver has major regressions and it's apparently been like this for a month and somehow no one at NVIDIA found out about this :akko_unamused2: reverted back to v550 and UE5 stopped crashing every few minutes. $3.3 trillion and none of the engineers could discover that the easily downloadable and free UE5 editor on linux crashes almost instantly. Well, back to work.
