Amazingly enough, that job required that they go to local stores, where they would buy as many copies as the store allowed of each title with their redbox debit card, followed by shucking / labeling / jacketing them, and then stocking the machines with the discs.
So, amazingly enough, the fortunes of your local Best Buy are tied up with Redbox.

Their answer … didn’t make a lot of sense to me, but… doing it their way, I guess they didn’t have to ship anything but the machines lol.

It makes more (financial) sense to hire someone to fling DVDs in it from a local store than it does to actually coordinate inventory and shipments
