   From everything I've seen here in fedi, Linux is very very good at its ability to be configured to do a single thing excellently and reliably. It's when you try to make a general purpose Linux PC that shit falls apart.
   
   It's the autistic OS. Play to its strengths.

     @BiggusDiccus @aliss all of my installs of Linux on my own home computers are basically general purpose and they've worked fine, even shit like Linux mint just works out of the box with no hitches, unless you use an Nvidia graphics card
