   arch users remind me of my windows colleagues back in my IT support days. They said they tried linux 20 years ago and it sucked.
   arch users say the same just about stable distros. "Well back in 2013 distro X sucked ass"

     @Kyonko802 this was back in 2017 when they stil sort of had a point. But they said shit like "my mouse doesnt work on linux" etc.

     @marine @teto negative. It's actually more of a pain in the ass to game using a vm than just running them in linux natively(if it has a dedicated linux release) or with proton

     @marine @teto it's basically wine but tweaked to work better with games.
     
     Wine is a compatability layer that in layman's terms takes windows files and translates them so linux can run and understand them.
     
     Do that with games and you don't have to beg developers for a linux version of their games. They can just focus on the windows version and it'll just work on linux thanks to the compatibility layer.

     @Jens_Rasmussen @marine @Kyonko802 I mean I couldve also just not played zenless. Bayonetta is on steam. Bayonetta 2 is on cemu and other emulators. It's not the end of the world to not play a single chink game.

     @teto @marine @Jens_Rasmussen would have also eventually worked if it didn't at launch. There's a ton of people dedicated to making hoyo shit work properly. Zenless working at launch is just a bonus.
     
     I will shed no tears over not being able to play games like destiny 2, valorant, and rainbow six siege. I hate slop shooters with a passion

     I had to set up use of Proton for a non-steam game once. That's my experience with it. 😔
