     @nixCraft 10 MB, supposedly but there was some weird shit with that generation of Seagate where it self-destructed if it got more than half full.

     If you count computers owned by my father, ten megs.

     If we're talking about the first that was actually mine, then I think that was fifty megs.

     @nixCraft: I had a Dragon 32, had cassette tapes, but I think you might of been able to buy a 5.5 inch floppy for it.

     @nixCraft zero, but i had 128KB RAM.

     i was unable to save my work. instead, i would write my program on paper so i could type it in again next time i wanted to use the computer.

     eventually i got a floppy drive, and then my program didn't evaporate when i turned off the computer lol.

     that was a huge upgrade haha.

     @nixCraft A lovely Sanyo 555 with dual floppy drives. Compiling a C program took three floppy swaps. I mostly wrote 8088 assembly on it. The editor, assembler, and linker could all fit on one drive.

     @nixCraft my first computer a commodore 128 didn't have any storage - at every boot I had a new PC which had forgotten everything I did before - 1 month later I received a cassete reader which I could connect as storage
