menherahair (menherahair@eientei.org)'s status on Monday, 08-Jul-2024 15:41:44 JST menherahair @anonicus @allison @mischievoustomato most laptops achieve wi-fi capability through a module connected on a m.2 port. if yours doesn't support free software drivers you can just swap it for one that does. however, lenovo is notorious for restricting devices allowed on that port in bios, so if you'd like to do that you need to get around it somehow which is possibly way more difficult than "take the bottom off, swap the card, put bottom on". - New Janny in Town likes this.
