     I'm sure I'll tweak these endlessly over the next [insert the number of weeks remaining in EH's development]. In particular, I'm not happy with the lowercase ø.

     aaaahhhh, I'm into the lowercase letters now. So much easier, so much nicer.

     I now understand why the Game Boy games always said "POKéMON"

     I might have to do some hacky shit like use the full height of the glyph, and hardcode it so those characters are offset one row up when they're printed

     Game dev, kids: don't do it. Become an accountant or a trash collector or something

     yeah, so... 8 pixels (7, if you don't include the 8th row for descenders) really ain't enough to convey uppercase letters with marks

     It doesn't have the extended characters that I need, but I can build those myself by combining these lowercase letters with the accents and marks on the glyphs I need from Press Start K.
