I would probably recommend Pop_OS instead now, but I think having something like Cinnamon as the default DE makes it easier for people coming from Windows.

xianc78@gameliberty.club's status on Saturday, 06-Jul-2024 11:56:25 JST xianc78 @PurpCat One thing with Pop_OS is that it is sold with a certain brand of computers so it is easier to recommend to someone who is also looking to buy a new computer as well.
I used to use Xubuntu regularly. I always liked the XFCE interface, especially how they set it up. It kind of reminds me of Classic Mac OS by having the start menu be up top.
