My apartment has a no pet policy. And frankly I would only enjoy a doggo if he had an acre or more of land for it to be a doggo in. I don't like locking them up in tiny living spaces so they thirst for basic walks and shit. Not fitting for their nature or purpose tbh.

I miss my only doggo. When I was I child my mom got a me lassie dog, but he was cow colored and I named him Geronimo after the famous injun.
Long story short he would always wait by my bus stop for me. One day (I was in elementary) I got carried away after school and I missed the bus home. We live on the coast in Mississippi (Biloxi/Pass Christian), and he was worried that I didnt get off the bus and was sniffing the road and the bus driver accidentally ran him over. But he was not dead, just had crushed hips, however my redneck neighbor Darryl determined he needed to be put down and shot him. He kept him in the back of his truck for a couple days so I was able to pay my respects and make peace. Never owned a pet since...

Terrible. I'm sorry. You should get another. Plenty of doggos need rescued and they are wonderful companions.

@Xenophon 0 homes. In the literal middle of nowhere in the middle of a desert.

God gave you a doggo.

@Xenophon I will in the morning. Everything is closed. I would mostly feel bad taking someone's dog. He's well trained. I am just using standard commands and sign and he is listening to me with out a leash.
-
are you near homes? i assume his collar doesn't have a tag on it with a name and number... people who let their dogs go shouldn't own them 😒
-
He is yours forever. Why would you have even thought to let him go? You want him to die?
-
take him to a vet and see if he is chipped.

Well our car was just completely obliterated by a deer. While we were waiting for a tow truck the police came to hang out. We opened the car door to talk to the police and a dog jumped in the car. We thought it was a police dog. Nope just some random dog. The tow truck driver wouldn't let us let him go so now I am in a hotel room in a strange town filled with weirdos dressed like aliens with a dog cuddling up to me in bed. He won't leave my side. He won't listen to anyone else so I guess he is mine until tomorrow.
