   1. Code. A lot.
   2. Embrace the bugs.
   3. Google is your friend.
   4. Learn from others' mistakes (and your own).
   5. Never stop learning (new languages, frameworks, etc.).
   6. Build cool stuff.
   7. Share your knowledge (and learn from others).
   8. Repeat steps 1-7.

     @nixCraft I'm not sure I agree with number 5. I'd rather be learning how to do new things with the language I know, rather than how to do the same things I've already done in new languages or frameworks.
