Caffeine is also against my religion, except when used as medicine (migraines come to mind), though quite a few will argue and say that's not so, because they're addicted to caffeinated sodas and won't admit it to themselves.
Still, we're definitely against anything addictive (coffee, tea, alcohol, drugs, including caffeine, etc.), as spelled out in scripture.
