@mikhailvorontsov Yeah, I love SAI, been using it for a long time. I think there would be a lot of work getting it to work natively on Linux, because it seems like it depends heavily on Windows GDI to render all of the UI. Not a fan of Krita because of UI/UX issues. Many things that feel like they should be 'close by' are always extra steps away. I feel like Blender has gotten a lot better after getting funding.

i get irrationally mad at blender lol

lmao i never used blender long enough to stumble upon that feature =Dspeaking of search tools, i was used to windows for all my life up until a couple years back, it STILL fills me with awe and appreciation that linux can search files
i used to spend considerable time organizing stuff for easy access, since i switched to linux i can just type in the search bar and within 1 or 2 *SECONDS* it finds what i was looking for
crazy how utterly worthless windows search is - even pre 10

They just make it increasing more of a turn off over time.

ive heard of that before, i only remember it wanting to spend significant time to index stuff for "better/faster search results" - never tried it. i distinctly remember being so frustrated by windows search, i once searched for a file within a folder containing only that file --- it took a while and the result was "no hits" lelonly goes to show how much better linux is (at least in that regard) it just does what a sane person expects the computer to do without any extra steps :3
