At least it seems the processing is happening locally. I'm not too big on the idea of AI powered file search, but I could be proven wrong with a good implementation. -

I don't know if deepin realies on cloud providers and call in home but I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese district would do that. Generally I think I'd done right it can be a useful asset but if it calls home and sends my data to their servers that'd be a privacy nightmare each way you look at it. Looks like they're going after MS and Apples AI strategy
