   @lightweight Does Christchurch have a group like The Nelson Tasman Climate Forum? Every city should!

   Government can help, but we need to show them we'll transition with or without them to put their societal transformation fears at ease.

   At the same time there's people in our Forum who don't see how to create effective change without going through government. As a former protester I strongly disagree!

We need progressive, drastic action on both environmental and social justice. Never Nats. No more Labour. No more conservative anything. It's way too late for that. We need collective, constructive action. We need leaders who do hard things rather than pandering to the current power brokers.
