     @nixCraft vscode is pretty good and you can use vim key bindings.

     vim is better if you want to have the same abilities in a terminal as well.

     There's very little need for that if you have time to set things up properly ahead of time.

     I just can't quit the command line

     @nixCraft Vim has a horrible UI design with a frightening, cult-like following, on top of being pointlessly difficult to use.

     I would rather convince people to use Nano, which has a much better UI (which actually hints at how to use it, visually), with shortcut keys that are relatively straightforward.

     @nixCraft I use both. Plus Sublime, IntelliJ and others. Is polarization the only known language in social networks nowadays? People will eventually learn. Or destroy each other 🤣

     @nixCraft I use Neovim. Having OCD, I don't like seeing the restart buttons under extensions in VSCode, especially when I'm in the middle of doing something. I can't ignore it either because seeing that update alert on the extensions button is like having a nagging wife.
